CodeLynx has been named one of the 40 best-performing companies in South Carolina for 2014 by SC Biz News. Twenty large companies and 20 small companies have named to the statewide Roaring Twenties list presented annually by SC Biz News. This honor recognizes the state’s best-performing companies based on both dollar and percentage increases in revenue from 2012-2013.
CodeLynx, a security integration and software engineering firm, was recognized in the small company category, which was defined as having $10 million and under in revenue. Small companies must have had revenues of at least $500,000 each year for the years 2011, 2012 and 2013. Founded in 2003 as a woman-owned small business (WOSB), CodeLynx has maintained greater than 40% year-over-year growth for both revenue and hiring over the last four years. The company currently employs just over 50 software engineering and security integration professionals, and is planning to fill a number of additional full-time positions before the end of the quarter.
“The leadership team is extremely proud of our employee and revenue growth each year,” says CodeLynx CEO Jeff Heatley. “Our company was recently named a channel relationship partner for Barco, which presents even more exciting opportunities for growth in the future.”
Profiles of the winning companies will be published in the winter issue of SCBIZ magazine. The winners will be honored at an event on October 30 at the Marriott Columbia.
